DESCRIPTION:The Joyful Child Foundation is delighted to offer FREE safety empowerment Workshops in partnership with the City of  Stanton on the first Wednesday of each month. \nBRAVE Workshops are 90-minute age-appropriate safety classes that includes verbal and physical skills to defend against sexual abuse\, violence\, and abduction. \nThe BRAVE Workshop is designed to nurture each student’s ability to recognize potential dangers\, verbalize discomfort or a need for help\, and physical resist abduction\, assault\, or other type of violence. \nEACH STUDENT MUST HAVE A SIGNED PARENT CONSENT FORM IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE\n \n¨ Parents are encouraged to attend. \n¨ Students must wear shoes that will not slip off. \nSPACE IS LIMITED

At packet pickup you will be entered in a raffle for a $120 certificate for a pair of running shoes! The winner will be announced and presented with the certificate on race day\, Sunday\, February 25\,2024.
